The characters from "The Paper Dolls" by Julia Donaldson, illustrations by Rebecca Cobb. This is a work in progress.
Set to an original soundscape based around Lewis Carroll’s onomatopoeic poem ”The Jabberwocky”. The piece deals with the role of the artist in relation to Aristotle’s notion of catharsis; the artist as a force who, both cleanses him/herself and those surrounding them through the creative process.
